10/14/2012 - The 2012 Head of the Connecticut Regatta

The 2012 Head of the Connecticut Regatta will be held on Sunday, 14 October, 2012

Sponsored annually by the City of Middletown and presented by the Middletown Lions Club and the Norwalk River Rowing Association, the Head of the Connecticut Regatta has been a fall rowing tradition since 1974.

Over the years, the Regatta has been held over a variety of courses on the Connecticut River in Middletown, CT, evolving into the current 3-mile downstream course first implemented in 2007. The current course includes the following features:

  • 3-Mile downstream course
  • Enhanced safety with no course/river crossings
  • Easy on/easy off dock configuration
  • Exciting finish at Harbor Park in view of team setup/tent areas
