Sneaker Recycling Commences

The City of Middletown will collect sneakers at the Middletown Recycling Center from April 2 - June 18, 2012.  Sneakers must be unloaded from bags or boxes and placed loose in the trailer.  Only clean, dry sneakers are acceptable. No shoes, flip flops, boots or cleats.  Sneakers are recycled into Nike Grind and turned into athletic surfaces.
