The Registrars office is located in the basement of the Municipal Building. The Registrar's office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

November 6, 2012 - General Election for President and Vice-President

The next General election for President and Vice-President, U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative and Registrar of Voters is November 6, 2012. All polling places are open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

While the November 6th election voter registration deadline of November 1st 8:00 pm has passed, it is not too late to participate in the election. Connecticut offers certain unregistered and former residents the opportunity to cast a Presidential Ballot to vote for President and Vice President.  Please click here for the “How to Vote by Presidential Ballot factsheet”.

Ballot Information
For the November 6, 2012 election, there will be six different ballots. A voter’s address will determine which Congressional, State Senate and State Representative candidates will appear on their ballot. Click on the District link below to view the ballot that will be used at your district’s polling place on November 6th. If you do not know your voting district, please click here to look up voting districts by street. 

Districts 1, 2, 10 and 12 will vote for the 3rd Congressional, 9th State Senate, and 100th State Representative districts’ candidates.

District 3 will vote for the 1st Congressional, 9th State Senate, and 100th State Representative districts’ candidates. 

Districts 4 and 7 will vote for the 3rd Congressional, 13th State Senate, and 33rd State Representative districts’ candidates.

Districts 5, 8, 13 and 14 will vote for the 3rd Congressional, 9th State Senate, and 33rd State Representative districts’ candidates. 

District 6 will vote for the 1st Congressional, 9th State Senate, and 33rd State Representative districts’ candidates. 

Districts 9 and 11 will vote for the 3rd Congressional, 13th State Senate, and 100th State Representative districts’ candidates.
