Drug Abuse Resistance Education

The Middletown Police Department is committed to the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program, a nationally recognized program.

D.A.R.E. trained police officers join educators and students in a classroom setting to instruct the students on the risks of drug abuse and violence. The D.A.R.E. program offers youths a verity of alternatives to drug use and provides them with the self esteem needed to make informed decisions. The D.A.R.E. program has been an integral part of this Department's youth interaction since 1988 and continues to serve as a mentor to all students.
