Tax Payments

You can now pay your taxes online or by telephone using your credit card!  No more waiting in long lines or having to wait for office hours.  The City of Middletown has partnered with Official Payments Corp. to offer the property owners of Middletown the convenience of paying their real-estate, personal property, motor vehicle, motor vehicle supplemental, water, sewer & sanitation taxes online or by telephone. 

Please note that the City of Middletown Tax Collector's Office ONLY collects for the City of Middletown.  Any other district taxes should be paid directly to the respective districts; Westfield or South Fire. The district payments are not processed through this web jurisdiction code.  Any payments received by the City of Middletown will be applied to City of Middletown bills only.

Official Payments Corp. charges the taxpayer a service-fee based on the amount of the bill.  Click here for a copy of the Fee schedules.  The fee is computed on each bill being paid and not on the total of all of the  taxpayer's bills.  Click here for general information from Official Payments, Corp.

You can also call 1-800-2PayTax (800-272-9829).  Middletown has been assigned a special jurisdiction code of 1735.  You should have this code, your tax bill and your credit card readily available before you call.
